Alcohol Breath Test

Employers often need to test a person before, during or after work to ensure safety and/or compliance with government regulations, including DOT regs. Companies may also have reasonable suspicion about the sobriety of a staff member, and may need to find out if an employee is currently intoxicated. Additionally, many companies have policies requiring immediate testing after any workplace accident, sometimes known as “for cause” testing. New River Safety offers alcohol testing solutions for these situations, as well as specific protocols for DOT compliant post-accident breath alcohol testing.

Ensure Accuracy With A Medical Review Officer

A confirmed positive test result reported from a laboratory does not automatically identify an employee or job applicant as having misused drugs, nor does a laboratory result of invalid, substituted, or adulterated automatically identify a person as having tampered with a specimen.  The Department of Health and Human Services requires the Medical Review Officers to fulfill this important function.  New River Safety offers review of drug test results by a licensed MRO in the event of an accident, injury, or any case requiring the most accurate and reliable results.
